Dregs Records releases 'The Great Spectacular' on CD in April. The CD's are signed by all the original members. 'Stand Up', like 'The Great Spectacular' released on CD for the first time, and 'Industry Standard' follow a few weeks later.

'Total Abandon' is released in July.

The Dixie Dregs do a short tour in late August. The first part of the show features the current lineup. For the second part of the show original members Andy West and Allen Sloan join Steve, Rod and T. The finale features both lineups. The shows at The Roxy in Los Angeles, CA on August 26, 27 and 28 are recorded.

Deep Purple perform Jon Lord's 'Concerto for Group and Orchestra' with the London Symphony Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in London on September 25 and 26. The Steve Morse Band performs 'Night Meets Light' and 'Take It Off The Top' with the Orchestra.
